Expert says Foxconn could become Taiwan’s first company to top NT$1 trillion in monthly revenue as Apple launches new products

A financial expert said Foxconn could become the first Taiwanese company to surpass NT$1 trillion (around US$31.8 billion) in monthly revenue this September, as the launch of Apple’s latest iPhone lineup coincides with robust demand for AI servers.

August holds near record levels

The forecast comes after Foxconn posted NT$921.8 billion in revenue in August, its second-highest monthly figure on record and the highest ever for the month.

Although revenue slipped 2.61% from July’s record, it surged 51.98% from a year earlier, underscoring the unusually strong demand underpinning the company’s current growth cycle.

Foxconn remained Taiwan’s largest company by monthly revenue in August, significantly ahead of TSMC’s NT$514.8 billion.

The August result also lifted Foxconn’s cumulative revenue for the first eight months to NT$6.51 trillion, up 39.73% from the same period last year and a record for the January-August period.

AI and Apple provide dual engines

Foxconn’s August performance was buoyed by strong global demand for AI products, while the company’s outlook for the third quarter improved as ICT products entered their traditional peak season.

Reuters reported, citing Foxconn, that the company’s overall performance is “expected to outperform market expectations.”

That momentum now converges with Apple’s product cycle. On Sept. 9, Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, alongside its first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, as well as new Apple Watch and AirPods models.

Preorders for the iPhone 18 Pro series began on Sept. 12, with the devices set to go on sale on Sept. 18.

September could mark a milestone

On Sept. 14, financial analyst Hsieh Ming-che (謝明哲) said September has historically been a particularly strong month for Foxconn, even though revenue has often risen in July before retreating in August.

With Foxconn’s July revenue already reaching more than NT$940 billion, Hsieh stated that the seasonal upswing, boosted by Apple’s new-product cycle, could propel Foxconn beyond the NT$1 trillion threshold this month.

Hsieh cautioned that his projection assumes there is no major global stock-market collapse or systemic financial shock.

He added that if revenue figures for September and October both reach new highs, the stronger operating momentum could also support Foxconn’s share price into October and November.

Foxconn itself offered a strong outlook for the third quarter in its second-quarter earnings report released in August, forecasting significant quarter-on-quarter growth and strong year-on-year growth for July-September as the company entered its traditional peak season.

It said strong AI server demand and growth in smart consumer electronics would continue to support its broader expansion.
